Poems on the MRT
Embark on a literary journey with Poems on the MRT, an initiative by the National Arts Council in partnership with SMRT and Stellar Ace, brought to life by Sing Lit Station. From 1 November 2024, Singapore poetry will take over the MRT network, integrating local literature into the daily experience of commuters.
Look out for over a hundred poems in English, Malay, Chinese and Tamil in trains on the East-West, North-South and Circle Lines, as well as videos created by local artists and featuring local poets in stations and on trains. Discover literary treasures at a pop-up library in Dhoby Ghaut station on 1 November, where a curated selection of Sing Lit titles will be available for browsing.
